First, thanks to you for being part of the Juicy Secrets universe. This little kingdom of ours is a true labor of love (generously flavored with lust), and it gives us more pleasure that you can imagine to bring a touch of erotic spice to your lives.

So. Today I come bearing news of the site, both good and bad.

The good news first: Juicy Secrets has been blessed of late with a big batch of great new stories that we plan to roll out in the months to come. Beloved authors No One and Purple Les have each submitted lengthy, multi-chapter gems that you have yet to see, Misty Meadow’s latest has several more chapters to run, and “Ripples,” the saga from Sapphmore and yours truly, shows no sign of ending anytime soon. Also, Sunnybunny has emerged from a two-year hiatus to pick up the thread of her story “A Young Desert Rose,” and our own site operator Amanda Lynn is working on the next installment of “Unaccompanied Minor.”

It’s a landslide of sizzling hot lesbian fiction, come to fill our happy website… and that, dear friends, is where the less fortunate news comes in.

To put it bluntly, we are experiencing an acute shortage of, er, personpower at the moment. These days, the entirety of Juicy Secrets is being run and maintained by a staff of exactly two: Amanda Lynn, who valiantly posts and formats the stories, and keeps the site in fighting trim… and me, JetBoy, who edits incoming stories and seeks out archival material, then hands it to Amanda to post.

My fellow site founders Cheryl Taggert and Naughty Mommy have moved on to other things, though Naughty Mommy is still a member of the Juicy Secrets community, leaving the occasional comment now and then. She hopes to write for us again someday, but has no plans beyond that. Please join me in fervently thanking these two incredible women for their massive contributions to this site, and let’s wish them and their loved ones every happiness imaginable.

As for my fellow editor and story seeker PoppaBear, he has fallen out of sight; the last communication we received from him was weeks ago, and he has yet to respond to our increasingly concerned emails. Let us all fervently wish and hope that he is okay.

What does this mean for Juicy Secrets? Essentially, this: I want to devote our time and energy to the new stories that we have in our possession. So as of now, we’ll be putting the site archive on hold, including the Author Unknown stories from my collection. Oh, I may stumble upon a vintage story every now and again to post, but for the most part, we will focus our attention on new material exclusively. (The one exception is FaeLissa’s “Help Me, Sister,” an archive story that still has a couple of chapters to go.)

This means that you will no longer be seeing posts every other day, a schedule that we’ve been working our tails off to maintain. Apologies, but the effort of simultaneously working on new material and trawling about for older stories is doing my head in.

The new schedule is simple enough: when we have something ready, we’ll post it.

That said, there is still plenty of Great Stuff here to peruse. I seriously doubt that there are many of you who have read every single story at this site, right? If you drop by and there’s no new post, don’t make a face and go elsewhere… explore!  There are hundreds of stories here, some of them long enough to provide you with solitary pleasure for weeks. If you only check out the new stuff, you’re missing out in a big way.

Anyhow, Amanda and I want to make it clear that we have no intention of shutting this site down… we just have to slow the pace a bit before our tickers give out. Once we get caught up with all these awesome new stories, I hope to resume our old posting schedule.

Okay, that’s the latest from us. Thanks in advance for your patience while we weather this out, and for reading this. We love you all.

Yrs, JetBoy

P.S. Thanks ever so much to all you lovely folks who volunteered to assist us! I had no idea how many of you were willing to offer your time and energy to Juicy Secrets. We’ve got enough offers for now, so there’s no need to apply unless you’re downright desperate to work for us.

To those of you who have already applied, please be patient while I work through your emails. My decision will be announced, I hope, by 11/10 or thereabouts.

Jet Boy. There was a story that I thing you wrote called “go fish” reference to a card game between mother and daughter .
I wanted to Re-read it, but could not find it.

    • Amanda Lynn says:

Click on JetBoy’s tab on the home page. The stories are listed alphabetically. Go Fish is the 13th or so.

Dearest site managers – your hard work is so appreciated. I am immensely proud of my one published story here, that actually Poopa B helped to edit and format. I submitted site start of another to him but did not hear back. Now I know he was not just ignoring me… Hope all is well…

With regards to updates – obviously it is awesome that you’ve managed a “daily dose” but realistically, I don’t have the time to visit every day… i “save up” a good bit of content, and create a nice “me” day where I read and… well… you know… release stress shall we say…

I wish I had the time to help but my retirement is about 35 years away so it will have to wait…

Shit, NM has gone NOOOOOO! Someone must hold her hostage at least until Joys Of Looking is completed or at very least end this part of what I call book 1, the New Years Party chapters. Sorry to keep going on about it, but this is probably my favorite story due to both content and length. Bye Naughty Mommy, I will miss your new works, thank f**k we can read your old stories.

  3. Nathan Riches says:

I am sorry to hear about Cheryl and Mommy, as their stories were always well crafted and enjoyable, but I wish them well in their future endeavours. Unfortunatley, I have pretty much read everything here (I am a voracious and fast reader) so unfortunately your advise regarding finding nothing new is N/A. However, I do often reread certain stories for fun, or when a new chapter drops in a multi part, to catch up.

I am sorry to hear we will not be getting more of the side authors, especially since the wonderful “Pages From A Diary” is still (hopefully) ongoing but it is understandable if the workload is becoming too much.

On the flipside, I am excited to see what No One and Purple Les have come up with (in Purple Les case, maybe a sequel/prequel to “Tears of the Sun”?) and the continuation of “Ripples”

Thank you for letting us know and we will endeavour to be patient with the reduced postings until such time as you are able to resume regular service. Keep up the good work.

PS I join my prays with yours re PoppaBear, its always disconcerting when someone goes dark. On that note, if anyone knows or has heard from Nuit De Loup recently, tell them we love their stories and would like more? I have emailed a couple times with no reponse.

    • JetBoy says:

I might as well let the cat out of the bag and let you good people know that yes, Purple Les has seen fit to grace us with a sequel to “Tears of the Sun,” and it is one hell of a yarn.

However, Les has requested that we not post this story until the whole thing has been edited and polished up, and I intend to honor her wishes. Please be patient… it’ll be worth the wait, honest.

So gratefull to you and Amanda Lynn for keeping the best site on earth going, lots of love. Lynn ann xxxx

Hey JetBoy, sorry to hear of Cheryl Taggert and Naughty Mommy moving on to other things, their loss to JS will be our ( we,their faithful devotees ) collective reading sorrow! Also, it’s sad to hear about PoppaBear being MIA, hope he is okay also.
I think we all agree that we so appreciate the hard work that you and the amazing Amanda Lynn do to bring to all the readers, these beautiful and erotically imaginative allegories.

Speaking of collectivism, ( and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to explain this correctly) do you think it might be possible to just post a story that you get, in it’s raw form and preface it with a proviso that it is just that,a raw form of a story that needs proofreading for typos and such, and ask us( the collective readers) that our hundreds of eyes and minds would be of immense help in doing just that?…I’m sure there’s a million bits of the process that you, as an editor do, that I’ve overlooked, but it’s just an “off the top of my head” idea…

I think it was readers Sue & Kim that commented a while back, that she( Sue )would rather wait for a really good quality story, than have so many “not so good” ones appear at JS in quick succession ,( apologies to Sue if I misquote here ) which is an excellent attitude to express, and that we readers should all take to heart, in light of the situation at JS…

Thank you JetBoy and Amanda and all the great writers for all you do. It’s what makes JuicySecrets the premiere site for this genre!

  6. sue says:

Hi, just to say I thank JetBoy and Amanda Lynn for minding the store. I hope you get some new volunteers. I also hope Poppa is okay.

E,T&A, I think you got me pretty close. I just meant that instead of getting reprints of older stories every day, I’d be okay with waiting for new ones instead. I had been sort of binging, but like some other readers, I’d rather wait a week or more to see new stories or chapters and savor them. Stopping by the site less often can make it a real treat, when I do visit.

Excited to hear about a ‘Tears of the Sun’ sequel.

    • JetBoy says:

Thanks for clarifying, Sue. Believe me, we have no interest in posting ANY story that is “not so good.” Granted, it’s our own opinion… but to us, every story at Juicy Secrets is at least good, and usually better than that. It’s what sets us apart from most other erotic fiction sites, we like to think.

      • sue says:

I know. All the stories here are better than average good here, if not outright great.

That’s why it’s my favorite fantasy site. It’s been just over a year that JS found it’s new host home, and like you say, Cheryl and NM are no longer contributing , and Poppa has gone dark, yet there are great new stories coming, and I love that Sunnybunny is back and getting a Young Desert Rose going again, and there’s Ebo and Misty and the Ripples series that I love. Every time something goes wrong here it just keeps going and gets better.

  7. collie says:

It’s perfectly reasonable to slow down the pace to give yourselves some breathing room. I wouldn’t want you to burn yourselves out! Thank you for all you do. I will be waiting patiently for new stories whenever they appear. (An upcoming sequel to Tears of the Sun is good news indeed!)

  8. Silent Watcher says:

I think this is very reasonable.. honestly i prefer the good works and less the older filler stories. So i am happy with this change. I will still ping the site 3 times a day though.. haha thanks for all the hard work!!

  9. Ironic990 says:

Thanks for your commitment!! It is very, very much appreciated. Do what makes sense and preserve yourselves! We’ll all survive so long as you thrive!

  10. Lakeisha says:

    Dear JetBoy,

Have you read the following titles by Nuit de Loup?

“The Singer,” “My Familiar,” “Twin Trouble,” “Unexpected,” “Dangerous Philanthropy,” “Four Friends,” “What A Witch,” “The Girl From The Party,” “A Different Girlfriend,” “Poisoned Kisses,” “Watching Eyes,” “Wings,” “Uncertain Magic,” “Royal Heart,” “Garden Thorn,” “Desert Queen.”

They are quite good! I’ve enjoyed reading all of the titles listed above over the past month and a half.

I really think they would be a big hit for the JuicySecrets Nuit de Loup fans if you can get Nuit de Loup’s consent to post them here:)

    Kind Regards,

    Lakeisha
