Antoinette (Nettie) Hastings: Age twenty-six. Niece of Jason Hanson, cousin of Julie and Victoria Hanson, girlfriend of Hannah Fletcher, daughter of Clarice Hanson. A child of mentally unstable parents, Nettie was abducted with her twin sister at age ten by a serial child kidnapper/murderer. The girls were rescued, but Nettie’s sister Annamarie did not survive. Spent a year living with her uncle Jason Hanson and his family in the aftermath due to the inability of her parents to care for her. Was instrumental in getting to the bottom of a string of mysterious overdose cases in and around her hometown of Bronning, MN during the early spring of 2022. Nettie is a paramedic for Thormleton Ambulance in Johnstown, MN, and is moonlighting in data analysis for DEA investigations.
Mallory Kalvornek: Age twenty-seven. Daughter of Sharon Kalvornek, granddaughter of Paulette Ried, life partner of Jule Hansen, narrator of “Pages From a Diary.” Professor of music, and touring piano recitalist. Keyboardist of now-defunct regional rock band 80 Proof. Underwent a loss of her Christian faith while her parents were separating during the events chronicled in “Pages From a Diary.”
Julie Hansen:. Age twenty-seven. Daughter of Jason Hanson, sister of Victoria Hanson, cousin of Nettie Hastings, life partner of Mallory Kalvornek. Design engineer for Colorado Engineering Solutions. Front-of-house sound engineer and record producer for now-defunct regional rock band 80 Proof. Julie discovered her sexuality and developed a lesbian partnership with Mallory Kalvornek at an early age.
Heather Dulcey: Age twelve. Daughter of April Dulcey, sister of Gina Dulcey. Abandoned by her father three years ago, Heather lives with her mother and sister in Forbes Mobile Home Park.
Gina Dulcey: Age eleven. Daughter of April Dulcey, sister of Heather Dulcey. Less than a year younger than her big sister, Gina also resides with her mother and sister in Forbes Mobile Home Park.
Darren Tanner: Age twenty-two. EMT for Thormleton Ambulance in Johnstown, MN; preparing to attend nursing school.
Samuel ‘Santa Claus Sam’ Harvey: age forty-six. Known as Santa Claus Sam due to his bushy beard and portly physique, Sam is head nurse for the emergency department at Pinewood Hospital in Johnstown, MN. Sam enjoys dressing in a Santa costume at children’s events during the Christmas season.
Dr. Eloise Murphey: Age thirty-six. Dr. Murphey is head of the emergency department at Pinewood hospital in Johnstown, MN.
Dr. Hannah Fletcher: Age twenty-nine. Mother of Bethany Fletcher; girlfriend of Nettie Hastings. Was impregnated during the denial phase of discovering herself as a lesbian at age fifteen; became an anesthesiologist while raising her daughter. Was part of the surgical care team for Halee Wilder subsequent to a shooting incident; met Nettie Hastings as a result.
Bethany Fletcher: Age thirteen. Daughter of Hannah Fletcher. Has enjoyed a longstanding lesbian relationship with her mother; hooks up with Nettie Hastings in “Strange Brew.”
Terrance (Terry ) Wilder: Age thirty-six. Father of Halee, Naomi, Dawn, and Maya Wilder. Former husband of Kathryn Wilder. Best-selling author, with several successful films extrapolated from his novels. Moved to Bronning, MN with his daughters four years prior to the events chronicled in “Strange Brew,” and became a volunteer EMT for the city, leading to a friendship and occasional romantic relationship with Nettie Hastings. Was abducted by his ex-wife’s organization during the events chronicled in Strange Brew, and rescued by a team led by DEA agent Bridgett Ramscone.
Halee Wilder: Age thirteen. Eldest daughter of Terry Wilder. Enjoys her first lesbian experiences with Nettie Hastings in “Strange Brew”, rapidly expanding that circle to include several other girls and women. Was shot in the chest and abdomen by one of her mother’s hired guns during the events chronicled in “Strange Brew;” saved by quick intervention by an EMS team led by Nettie Hastings.
Naomi Wilder: Age eleven. Second daughter of Terry Wilder; girlfriend of Chelsey Milne. Was initiated into sapphic sexuality by Nettie Hastings, Halee Wilder, and Chelsey Milne during the events chronicled in Strange Brew.
Dawn Wilder: Age eight. Third daughter of Terry Wilder. Best friend of Allison Cordova.
Maya Wilder: Age six. Fourth and youngest daughter of Terry Wilder.
Allison Cordova: Age eight. Best friend of Dawn Wilder. Spends most of her daytime hours at the Wilder residence, due to domestic issues at home.
Chelsey Milne: Age eleven. Was involved in a traffic accident during the events chronicled in Strange Brew due to her mother’s drug and alcohol abuse. Subsequently was included in lesbian sexual activities with Halee Wilder, Nettie Hastings, and Naomi Wilder. Lives with her grandmother, due to her mother’s pending legal action on drug trafficking charges.
Jason Hanson: Age forty-seven. Father of Julie and Victoria Hanson, husband of Lisa Hanson, uncle of Nettie Hastings. Was a professional guitarist in early adulthood; abandoned that profession to care for his daughter Julie subsequent to divorce from his first wife. Is now regional operations manager for a large flight medical service.
Lisa Hanson: Age thirty-seven. Wife of Jason Hanson, mother of Victoria Hanson, step-mother of Julie Hanson. Assisted Mallory Kalvornek and Julie Hansen in exploring their sexuality. Lisa is currently mayor of Dickson, MN, and is commencing a campaign for Minnesota state legislature.
Victoria (Vicky) Hanson: Age fifteen. Daughter of Jason and Lisa Hanson, sister of Julie Hanson.
Robert (Robbie) Wachinsky: Age sixty-five. Machinist by profession, and director of Bronning, MN’s volunteer ambulance service.
Lori Henderson: Age forty-two. Medical lab technician, Bronning city council member, and volunteer EMT for Bronning ambulance.
Nathan (Nate) Hauss: Age thirty-eight. Heavy truck mechanic, volunteer EMT for Bronning ambulance.
Jessica (Jessie) Kramer: Age nineteen. Bronning ambulance’s youngest volunteer EMT.
Cynthia (Cindy) Moen: Age twenty-seven; maiden name Koep. Member of the childhood friend group known as the “pussy posse” along with Mallory Kalvornek, Julie Hansen, and Emma Fronning. Niece of Dickson police chief Jeffery Moen. Cindy is a Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputy.
Emma Fronning: Age twenty-seven. Emma is a member of the childhood friend group known as the “pussy posse” along with Mallory Kalvornek, Julie Hansen, and Cindy Moen (formerly Cindy Koep), and is a network engineer for Arvig Communications.
Bridgett Ramscone: Age thirty-two. An agent supervisor for the DEA, Ramscone was in charge of the team that investigated the Bronning, MN overdoses as chronicled in “Strange Brew.” During that time she engaged in lesbian relations with Nettie Hastings, and later Halee Wilder. Agent Ramscone commanded the team that was responsible for the rescue of Terry Wilder.
