As the title of this post says, it’s been a while. With tax returns hitting bank accounts, the restaurant I work at has been swamped. I haven’t had much luck getting any writing done. Hopefully, you all haven’t forgotten about me during this hiatus.
The new story, Soccer Mom, will be a two-three part tale. Before you groan and ask why a new story and not a chapter of one of my old ones, let me explain. The simple answer: It’s been a while. I have to go back a read them again to figure out where I was trying to go with them. That and the long running stories are the hardest ones to write. Hopefully, writing Soccer Mom will get me out of my rut and writing on a more regular basis. The goal: two chapters a month.

Welcome back Ebo, you’ve been sorely missed. I was kinda hoping that your next posting would be another installment of The Wild but I will give Soccer Mom a whirl because all of your stories are worth a read. Again welcome back.
You do you. You put what you put out into the world without asking your readers to contribute jack anything, so far be it from me to criticize that which you bring to the world so freely and skillfully.

Glad you are back! Saying that you were missed, is a huge understatement! I’m looking forward to more of “Soccer Mom” and the continuation of my favorite stories here. Now, go wash your hands and buy some toilet paper!
I guess that is one benefit of the coronavirus- business has fallen off some at the restaurant. I don’t want anyone to get sick, but I’ll take a break anywhere I can get it.
